Luxola Haul

From Left to Right: Sleek Contour Kit, Tangle Teezer, Sleek Blush

Recently I have been looking at some beauty websites for some products that are not sold in Australia and I have heard great reviews of. I really wanted to try some Sleek blushes that I have heard are super pigmented and are also a reasonable price. I also wanted to own a Tangle Teezer which if you don't know - is a hairbrush that doesn't pull on your hair when brushing it and doesn't hurt your head when trying to untangle knots. So I looked around at a few beauty websites but finally decided on going with Luxola http://www.luxola.com

The layout of Luxola's website was clear and it was easy to identify different brands that were for sale and a whole range of products. They ship from Singapore to Australia and use the Australian dollar. Shipping is free if you order items that total at or over $40.00. I ordered 3 items; a Sleek blush in Rosegold, a Sleek contour kit in Light and the Tangle Teezer in Blueberry Pop. Which totalled just over $40.00. My package came by courier one week after I ordered it and all the goods were unopened and not damaged in any way.

The only downside to Luxola would be that if you are not home to receive your parcel from the courier then it could be possibly sent back but lucky I was home so I didn't have to worry.

If you haven't had a go at online shopping yet then maybe try Luxola. It isn't as scary as you think.

Review: Dr Lewinn's Day Cream Moisturiser

The other day 'Beauty Heaven' very kindly sent me the 'Dr Lewinns's Day Cream Moisturiser' to trial and review.
I thought you guys might like to see what I thought of this product so here is my review:

The Dr Lewinn's Day Cream Moisturiser has a think texture that is easy to apply on the skin. A little goes a long way - a small dob will spread far. I found that the thick consistency was easy to blend into the face. It has a subtly pleasant smell and keeps your face feeling moisturised and fresh. The moisturiser sinks into the skin quickly but leaves your face feeling slightly oily. I would not recommend this for someone with oily skin. Overall I found the product to work well but I am unsure of if I would repurchase it. I have it sitting on my dressing table but I find that I have been reaching for my normal moisturiser more often than not.
Just shows
